Experience Connected
Digital Collaboration Live
Break down expert silos. Connect your teams, processes, methods, and tools. Enhance digital collaboration.
We Bring Digital
Collaboration to Life.
The Digital Lifecycle Lab is more than an installation of software tools. It is a physical, immersive fully connected environment in Graz, Austria, equipped with the latest hardware and software technologies.
Digital collaboration, reimagined. Experience a fully integrated environment where fundamental methodologies and organizational best practices converge. Powered by intelligent automation, we transform your fragmented toolchains into a high-performance engine for success.

Harmony
Digital collaboration only works when these four pillars are in perfect harmony.
Siloed Isolation vs. Connected Collaboration
Disjointed Communication
Teams work in isolated systems. Critical design updates are passed manually via emails and spreadsheets, losing context along the way.
- [-]Information SilosData remains locked in division-specific tools without cross-team transparency.
- [-]Manual SynchronizationAligning systems requires slow copy-pasting and error-prone custom scripts.
- [-]Late Discrepancy DiscoveryConflicts are discovered late during assembly, causing expensive scrap and delays.
Real-Time Alignment
The point where culture, process, organization, and infrastructure act as one, the operational result of our four pillars working in concert.
- [+]From Culture to ExecutionAn adaptive organization and transparent mindset make real-time alignment the natural state of engineering.
- [+]The Power of ConnectionTransition from static, fragmented data to a dynamic, shared view of the entire lifecycle.
- [+]Seamless SynchronizationCohesive integration ensures all decisions are based on the same shared reality, eliminating manual coordination.
The Rescue Drone Story
A convergence of mechanics, electronics, and software.
The Tragedy in the Alps
A search-and-rescue drone is deployed in the hot summer heat to locate missing hikers. Under the heavy, continuous climb, the drone overheats and fails.
Drone crashes. Hikers remain lost.
Document-Based Silos
Requirements reside in static documents, electrical wiring schemas are kept in spreadsheets, and mechanical layouts are stored in isolated local CAD directories.
- [-]Manual email coordination misses the critical thermal limits under high load
- [-]Interface mismatches are discovered only in physical assembly
- [-]System failures remain hidden until actual field operation
The Integrated Reality
In an environment built on our four pillars, fragmentation gives way to a unified ecosystem:
- [+]Requirements are linked; electrical and mechanical models stay synchronized.
- [+]Critical constraints like thermal limits are validated automatically.
- [+]Discrepancies surface immediately, preventing downstream field failures.

A Day in the DLL
Exploration agenda & timeline.
Warm Welcome
Arrive at our facility in Graz. Meet your integration hosts and set the expectations for the day over hot coffee.
Start with the Case Study
Align on a realistic mechatronic reference project. We break down standard silos and outline the cross-discipline engineering hurdles we will solve.
The Lab in Action
Experience the connected toolchain and its underlying methods live. Change requirements, propagate updates across the ecosystem, and more.
Details & Discussions
Time for a technical deep-dive on specific topics, such as mechatronic lifecycle and target interface validation.
Key Takeaways & Wrap-up
We wrap up the session, review learnings, hand over documentation, and align on actionable follow-up plans.
